Objectives  

- Students will define what a portrait is. 

- Students will identify portrait works of several artists. 

- Students will recall different implications of what portraits communicate to the viewers

- Students will describe and examine different artistic themes in exhibited portrait works.  

- Students will curate and critique some portrait works of exhibited artists.

- Students will identify and select visual elements in various works of art by exhibited artists.

- Students will create their own patterns inspired by various works of art by exhibited artists. 

- Students will create a 2D portrait following the theme of Family Identity.
